Print & Finishing Workflow
How your box is printed, finished and checked.
The in-house sequence this format runs through — from prepress to the final inspection before packing.
- 01
Slide system development
Drawer and sleeve tolerances are developed together so the pull is smooth with a defined stop.
- 02
Wrap print & finishing
Sleeve and drawer wraps print offset CMYK + Pantone; foil and deboss mark the drawer face.
- 03
Ribbon & pull detailing
Satin ribbon pulls are selected to color and attached through reinforced slots.
- 04
Hand assembly
Drawers are folded, wrapped and fitted into sleeves by hand; slide tested repeatedly.
- 05
Pull & stop QC
Drawers are cycled to confirm smooth travel, full extension and positive stop.
Customization Capability
Built around your product, not off the shelf.
Every parameter above can be specified. These are the dimensions of customization this format supports best.
The pull moment
Drawer travel, resistance and stop are tuned so the reveal feels deliberate.
Two-surface storytelling
Sleeve carries the outer brand; the drawer face and interior carry the reveal message.
Soft-touch signature
Soft-touch laminates and debossed patterns turn the box into a keepsake.
Insert choreography
Foam, EVA or paper inserts stage products at the moment the drawer opens.
Keepalife construction
Rigid geometry and premium wraps make the box reusable long after unboxing.
Application context
Where this format can begin.
- Cosmetic collections
- Fragrance and accessory sets
- Special-edition gifts
Structure
Define the opening, loading and closure.
A rigid inner drawer slides from a wrapped outer sleeve and presents products in a tailored insert.
Prototype sleeve clearance, drawer travel, stops, pull detail, and the intended reveal at full size.
Material & board
Review construction against the packed product.
- Wrapped Rigid Board
Select rigid-board thickness and wrap papers to suit dimensions, artwork, and edge treatment.
Printing & surface
Place artwork on the confirmed dieline.
- Offset Printing
- Matte Lamination
- Hot Foil
- Embossing
Place matte lamination, foil, and embossing with consideration for wrap joints and moving surfaces.
Features
Add only what supports use and packing.
No feature is fixed at this stage; suitable closures, openings or handling details can be reviewed by project.
Feature feasibility depends on the final dimensions, board, dieline and packing workflow.
Inserts & accessories
Plan product organization with the outer box.
- Paperboard Insert
- Non-Paper Insert
Evaluate paperboard or non-paper inserts for layout, product access, depth, and visual presentation.
Sampling
Use the sample that answers the current question.
A material reference helps compare surfaces, a blank structural sample checks fit and assembly, and a printed sample reviews the combined structure and artwork. Scope, cost and timing are confirmed before preparation.
